Vulvar Vestibulitis & VulvodyniaVulvar vestibulitis is a condition of inflammation, redness, and pain at the opening of the vagina. Overly sensitive nerves and pain receptors can be caused by childbirth, yeast infections, and musculoskeletal problems. Some women who have vulvar vestibulitis also suffer from conditions such as interstitial cystitis, fibromyalgia, and irritable bowel syndrome. Sorry, Stamford Therapeutics Consortium is not currently conducting a study in this category. Please check back, as we are adding new studies all the time. You can also feel free to contact Judy Dalgin our Site Manager for more information about upcoming trials. |
