Sexual Dysfunction

There are many types of male and female sexual dysfunction issues. Arousal disorders cause difficulty experiencing a sexual response. Orgasmic disorders may involve pain during orgasm, or the inability to achieve climax. Sexual pain disorders are situations where the patient experiences pain during or after intercourse. Erectile dysfunction is the inability to develop or maintain an erection.

Causes of sexual dysfunction are varied including diabetes, psychological, physical, insufficient lubrication, hormonal changes, alcohol, drugs, neurological disorders, certain drugs, injuries, multiple sclerosis, syphilis, endocrine disorders, and birth defects.
