Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)

Rheumatoid Arthritis, or RA, is a chronic systemic inflammatory disorder that attacks joints and cartilage in the hands, feet, cervical spine, shoulders and knees. RA can also cause inflammation of the lungs, pericardiym, pleura, sclera, and the skin. RA can have an onset in people age 40-50, and is a painful condition that can lead to a decrease in mobility and difficulty with daily functioning.

Possible symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis may include:

• Atherosclerosis
• Episcleritis
• Fatigue
• Fibrosis of the Lungs
• Increased Risk of Heart Attack
• Inflammation of Joints
• Limited Movement
• Loss of Appetite
• Low Grade Fever
• Mononeuritis Multiplex

• Peripheral Neuropathy
• Renal Amyloidosis
• Rheumatoid Nodule
• Stiffness
• Stroke
• Vasulitis
• Warm Sensation in Joints
• Weight Loss
