Diabetic NeuropathyDiabetic neuropathy is a disorder that is associated with diabetes and injury to small blood vessels that supply peripheral nerves such as pain fibers, motor neurons and autonomic nerves. There are several different syndromes associated with diabetic neuropathy that affect various organs and systems of the body. Some examples of diabetic neuropathies include third nerve palsy, mononeuropathy, diabetic amyotrophy, polyneuropothy, autonomic neuropathy, and thoracoabdominal neuropathy.
